I hear him neigh to me from across the farm
As I go to greet him I see his unbelievable charm
In the ring going through our paces, we move with grace
All you would see is a gigantic smile on my face
The sound of my horse's hooves clashing with the ground is music to my ears
He is moving under me, getting rid of all my fears
And when the world comes crashing down around me
I just ride, nothing can touch us, not even a bee
After I dismount, I am back to living in normality
I long to continue on my ride of unreality
We are back in the stable- his comfort zone
It is mine as well, I can never be alone
The presence of all the horses causes me to be mesmerized
It is the best feeling I have ever realized
I put my equipment away: helmet, saddle, boots, and more
Back to the barn to give my horse goodbye kisses, who I adore
